Trainee Trainer Programme – IT Disciplines – Northwest England
££ Negotiable salaried positions

Do you want to work in IT Apprenticeship delivery but you don’t have the experience / qualifications? We are always keen to talk either Experienced Assessors who want to move into IT or Experienced Web / Networking IT Professionals or Digital Marketing Professionals who want to move into training. We offer a comprehensive training plan to support our trainees as you work with us to deliver industry leading IT Apprenticeships.

Telesales Executive  – IT Sales

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm – 25 days holiday

In the Telesales (basic £17,500 OTE £24,700) you will be telephoning existing customers and hot prospect employers. We will train you to build a sales pipeline, manage existing customers and uncover new opportunities. Your customers will receive funded training, grants and tax incentives. This is not a hard-sell sales role – we sell professionally and ethically to established employers.

Training
We will provide full training on our IT programmes and the latest IT concepts. You do not need to have experience in the education or Apprenticeships industry.

Main responsibilities:

  • Deliver inductions to new apprentices inclusive of initial assessments, IAG and H&S risk assessments on site.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face sessions and progress reviews with apprentices and their employers, complemented by eLearning.
  • Provide opportunities for apprentices to develop their maths, English and ICT skills and knowledge.
  • Embed Equality & Diversity, Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Fundamental British Values into all course content.
  • Inspire, motivate and raise apprentices’ aspirations through their passion for the sector.
  • Adhere to all NowSkills policies & procedures, Skills Funding Agency, Ofsted and Awarding Body requirements.
  • Deliver high quality training, coaching and assessment to apprentices.
  • Report to the Ops Director to achieve agreed volumes of timely apprentice achievements in line with the business strategy and plans.
  • To undertake additional projects and activities to meet the needs of the apprentices, employers and NowSkills.
  • Share best practice amongst the Ops Team and attend all internal meetings/training as required.

Skills, qualifications and experience required:

  • Previous experience in training, coaching and assessing young people and/or apprentices.
  • A recognised teaching qualification, e.g. Cert Ed., PTLLS, Certificate in Assessing, would be advantageous, but is not essential as this can be provided by NowSkills internally.
  • Up-to-date competence in the vocational area of Digital Marketing, which could be supported by qualifications in the same area.
  • Resilience and adaptability when dealing with challenge or change, or support apprentice to overcome barriers to career and personal development.
  • Full driving licence is essential.
  • Excellent maths, English and ICT skills.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeships, Skills Funding Agency requirements and the demands of Ofsted.
