Off-the-Job Training: What Employers Need to Know

All apprentices must complete off-the-job training as part of their programme. This is a statutory requirement and must take place during normal working hours. Employers are required to give apprentices a minimum of six hours per week to focus on learning activities that build the knowledge, skills, and behaviours outlined in their apprenticeship standard.
