The apprenticeship minister Lord Agnew, told parliament that between May 2017 and April 2018 levy paying employers drew down only 10% from their apprenticeship funds accounts*. The UK Government is investing in the country’s future talent and wants employers to create 3 million apprenticeship jobs by 2020 supported by apprenticeship funds.
Why aren’t employers using their Apprenticeship Funds?

Each month we receive over 500 applications from IT enthusiasts all looking for an IT apprenticeship. We have developers, web designers, hardware specialists and social media experts all with one thing in common: they’re all looking for a chance to show an employer what they can do. We spend time with our learners preparing them for interviews and helping them in the early days of their career.
